Do I need a profile?+
No public profile, follower count, or searchable handle. Each conversation starts with just the two people in it.
Can I talk to the same person again?+
If you both tap Add now, you can keep talking anonymously. Each of you can save up to two people.
Can support tell me who I was chatting with?+
Support can help with privacy or account questions, but won't share another person's Google email or real-world identity without their consent. Use Add now if you'd both like to talk again.
Who can use vent.?+
Vent is for adults aged 18 and over. You'll confirm your age before joining a chat.
Can I send a voice note?+
Yes. Vent changes the pitch and tone in your browser, then encrypts the note before sending it. It isn't transcribed or checked for spoken contact details, and the effect can't guarantee someone won't recognize your voice.
How do messages work?+
Text and voice notes encrypt in your browser before they are sent. Rooms close after someone leaves, and unsaved messages clear after 24 hours.
